Moretonhampstead Carnival – A Tradition of Community and Celebration

For over 100 years,  Moretonhampstead Carnival has been the beating heart of our community, bringing together families, friends, and neighbours in a joyous celebration of tradition, culture, and togetherness. What started as a small local gathering has grown into one of the most anticipated events of the year, drawing crowds from near and far.

The Carnival is more than just a celebration; it’s a reflection of the strong sense of community and the deep-rooted love and support that defines Moretonhampstead. From the colourful Carnival Fete and Fun Day to the lively Morris dancing, everyone plays a part in making this event special.
